[next 4 food photos] Hawaiian Chicken Sewers with Cilantro Coconut Rice (more info further down)
I think very few readers care about the deeper meanings of my "music themes" I slip into my blog posts.
But in case Aliens are trying to decipher the hidden meanings in my blog 15,000 years from now, I better explain……
As pertains to my boy Michael Franks' song, "The Woman in the Waves" which I embedded below, from his appropriately named "Blue Pacific" Album/CD….
….. to me, seems to be about this "dream girl" vision of one's perfect girl walking on the seashore as the waves roll in, and she appreciates the ocean and beach as much as he does.
An my own spin on it, is my "Woman in the Waves" is taking a walk on a Hawaiian black sand beach, looking incredible in her Sarong, killing time as I prepare a meal at this crib in Kapaula, Maui.
One philosopher said every that thought comes to reality in some other parallel dimension, so I gotta throw my vision out there into the universe…..
….and I know how the word works. If I get a crib in Maui like this one, I bet the "The Woman in the Waves" vision will come into reality in this universe and lifetime ……………..yep 🙂

Hawaiian Chicken Skewers with Cilantro Coconut Rice
The Healthy Chef's "healthy morsel": I don't trust store bought soy sauce, I try to avoid soy at all times. But I keep this homemade soy sauce recipe on file. And the ketchup in the recipe is a big NO-NO. Most ketchups have unhealthy sweeteners and unhealthy ingredients. I make my own healthy sauce.

The Healthy Chef's "healthy morsel": Recipe calls for Paleo Mayo, I don't like store bought Mayo because of horribly bad ingredients like toxic Canola Oil. I make a quick, healthy, 3 Ingredient Mayo

The Healthy Chef's "healthy morsel": Can swap in any thick whitefish like sustainably sourced Chilean Sea Bass. If grilling, you can grill fish on top of lemon slices so they don't stick to grate.

The Healthy Chef's "healthy morsel": Poke bowls are a Hawaiian, Sushi Style Bowl taking root as "Trendy" Hawaiian Cuisine. I kinda dig Poke recipes, EXCEPT for the raw fish which is not my thing. However, I love smoked salmon, that's a "no-brainer" swap in for me…….

about the crib…..
Nestled on Hawea Point, this stunning home was designed to seamlessly blend the interiors with the tropical gardens and the panoramic ocean views.
From this vantage point, the views extend along the West Maui coastline from Kapalua Bay to the South, the Pailolo Chanel out to the neighboring islands of Lanai and Molokai to the West, and out to Honolua Bay to the North.
The magnificent great room opens to a sheltered lanai and the pool deck below, all perfectly situated to watch Maui’s spectacular sunsets.
The Master Suite is a spa-like retreat unto itself, designed with a bath that opens to the view and the gardens. The Namalu Bay wing features four ocean view guest suites each with a private lanai.
The Honolua wing features mirror bunk rooms and a media room.
This one of a kind estate features a spacious interior and vast lanais that create over 12,000 square feet of indoor-outdoor living and over 20,000 square feet of developed grounds
