[next 4 food photos] Mini "Dutch Baby" Skillets with Lemon Curd and Blueberry (more info further down)
I've always been fond of homes adorned in what they often call, "Native Stone"…….
…I love the sense of "attention to detail" and warmth that the native stone brings to the home design.
And, I'm a sucker for a hearty breakfast made with "Stone Love", you know, that attention to detail….
..so, this house in Sydney Australia, combined with these hearty Breakfast Skillets, is a "Perfect Storm" of "Stone Love" …….yep 🙂

Mini "Dutch Babies", with Lemon Curd and Blueberries
The Healthy Chef's "Healthy Morsel": Use organic Flour/Pastry Mix (since organic wheat can't "legally" be sprayed with Glyphosate, the possible cause of Gluten intolerance symptoms). Also, avoid conventional dairy and stick to pasture raised real milk, cream, yogurt and butter grass fed butter list here . Replace processed sugar with Healthy Coconut Palm Sugar. Pasture Raised eggs (whole Foods has them, expensive, but very good, and eggs are very good for you). Speaking of eggs, a fried egg on top of that skillet would be "kinda right" 🙂

The Healthy Chef's "Healthy Morsel": With organic ingredients and pastured raised eggs, a super healthy recipe as is. However, as much as I'm in to healthy eating, I'm just not feelin' that kale, I'll have to replace with spinach, great recipe though!!!

[below] Shrimp and Grits in Mini Cast Iron Skillets
The Healthy Chef's "Healthy Morsel": If you never had "Shrimp and Grits" your missing a treat. The only "danger" to this meal, is if the grits are not organic, there is an ALMOST 100% CHANCE THE CORN THE GRITS ARE MADE FROM IS GENETICALLY MODIFIED, one of my big "no no's" for healthy eating.

you know me, always trying to "set my scene"
(…if you love the aroma of coffee, you know where I'm coming from 🙂 )

The Healthy Chef's "Healthy Morsel": The recipe calls for ground pork, but I normally replace pork with turkey or lamb sausage or ground turkey/lamb meat from Whole Foods (their Spinach-Feta Turkey Sausages are INSANE!!!) Also, note healthy tips on flour and bread in first recipe above for Blueberry Dutch Babies.

The Healthy Chef's "Healthy Morsel": Sorry if TMI, but the next "Warm Hearted" girl I wake up next to on a lazy, rainy, Seattle morning is gonna get this breakfast skillet 🙂 (Note the health tips for flour in the first recipe above for Blueberry Dutch Babies)

The Healthy Chef's "Healthy Morsel": With Grass Fed Cheese and Pasture Raised Eggs (Whole Foods has them both), and all organic ingredients, this recipe is 5 star healthy as it is!!!!

The Healthy Chef's "Healthy Morsel": Time to bring up the point again, that I eat 25-30 eggs a week, and my cholesterol scores are perfect!! Also some evidence is popping up that Cholesterol is actually a good healer {read more}

…about the crib
The Waterfront Retreat is the epitome of an Australian dream home, adorned with a private beach, garden and open-plan living.
Responding the clients’ brief – a house offering sanctuary and entertainment, the Waterfront Retreat is designed to allow nature to lead, offering maximum seclusion and connection to its surrounds and outlook.
Located on a steeply sloping waterfront block, facing the vast expanse of Pittwater, a terraced, four levels building progressively stretched and stepped north-westward as it tumbled water-wards with the site. A series of artificial rock or floating platforms that are presented as a sequence of cantilevered concrete slabs that float above recessed stacked-stone cladded podium.
To maximise the sense of levitation, the slabs are tapered to a finer point water-wards, with the living and dining area particularly designed to appear as a floating box.
An open-plan living area, show kitchen and rear functional kitchen occupy the third level, with informal spaces – including a home theatre, bar, gym and casual entertaining spaces – positioned on the fourth floor as you move closer to the beach and relaxed waterside setting.
Overlooking and offering access to the garden, beach and Pittwater a half level below is the resort style infinity pool.

Wow, amazing, awesome, (house) Food looks delish! Cast iron skillets brings back memories of my mom. Have a GREAT weekend!
Hi Lory,
Funny you should mention…my mom passed away 2 years ago, was just talking to my brother last week about the amazing skillets mom used to make. She was a master at tricking us into eating veggies. 🙂
As I noted somewhere in the post, gourmet skillets are my “go to” breakfast on a lazy Sunday morning, waking up next to a “Warm Hearted” girl……. 🙂
Nonetheless, thanks for reading and commenting, I’m glad you got a nice little “Web Browse” from the post, a pleasant “Web Browse”, with no annoying pop-up ads and such, is very good for the health 🙂
