…about the Outdoor Kitchen and Outdoor Space
This statement making estate in Rye, New York features an expansive multi-purpose backyard that sits beneath a canopy of trees surrounded by a flourishing grassy landscape. The outdoor kitchen extends off the back of the main house and is located on the top level of this multi-level landscaped backyard.
Bookended by two pergolas, the galley style outdoor kitchen features a large dining table in the middle with seating for eight. A built-in gas fireplace, adjacent to the table, is perfect for those chilled fall evenings extending time spent outdoors late into the season.
Central to the elongated kitchen sits the Kalamazoo Hybrid Fire Grill, this powerful piece of grilling equipment interchangeably cooks with gas, wood and charcoal offering the homeowners the ultimate versatility in cooking. Surrounding the grill is an abundance of gray countertop offering ample space to prepare and cook meals with friends and family.
Kalamazoo Signature Series weather-tight cabinetry and refrigerator and freezer doors are built into stone masonry for convenient outdoor cooking.

I’m in no way affiliated with Kalamazoo Gourmet, but plain and simple, they are the masters of the “Art Form” that is Gourmet Grilling. I love their “promo” video below, always sets the right vibe for the summer’s grilling!!! ENJOY!!!
(and remember to try, if but just a little, at making your tasty grill treats a little healthier……..then you got the best of both worlds )

Great content as always! Hopefully you’ll be back grilling soon. Our high for today is 94, you wanna swap? lol
Hi Lory,
94 degrees, thanks but I’ll take a pass LOL!!. The thing is, up here in Seattle, many of the apartment buildings up here like mine don’t have air conditioning because they were designed in the years before the recent global warming. The Global Warming hit the last couple of years, and we got up into the 80 and 90’s by this time, which made springtime very nice. Well, nice after you get a portable air conditioner.
We’re back to how it was 5 years ago when I got here, when it barely got into the 70’s in the summer.
But like I said as a disclaimer, I’m not “truly” complaining, but I just not the type to be out on the grill when it’s chilly and I have to wear a heavy jacket. I’m just happy I can afford to go to Whole Foods and pay for all this high quality food.
But I never get tired of saying “It is what it is……”
Happy Grilling!!!

Hi Doug, no AC! You wouldn’t make in the sunshine state without one. Hope you’re grilling like crazy. As fo me, i’m just trying to stay COOL!
Hi Lory,
I’ve got the AC now, the weather is not as warm as I need it to be out there. ub it’s getting there, it’s inching up in the low 70’s now. However, I like to be out there in the evening or night and it gets pretty chilly, I like it warm. I know that’s being somewhat “persnickety” but it is what it is…. {chuckle}
