“Short Story Long”, a.k.a., “The Adventures of Lee Litumbe” … (Part 6), Staying at Emerson Hotels, Stone Town, Zanzibar

…one "Nomad" [myself] “non-vicariously” 🙂 enjoying the travels of another nomad [Lee Litumbe]

I think I can feel Lee Litumbe and her "Spirited Pursuit" website gently trying to pull me out of my "comfort zone"…..

With some things, we all know we probably shouldn't think a certain way….

….but nonetheless we still so.

With me, that thing is, even though I can afford any vacation, anywhere in the world….

….I confess I have trouble wanting to take vacations while I'm still "stuck" in Corporate America.

With me, I struggle with truly relaxing, and struggle with not thinking about my job when on a trip…….

Those 4-5 day vacations don't work for me. Because by the time I slow finally down….

…it's already time for more hectic travel, plus that thought of coming back to the "Rat Race". 🙁

But I gotta get over all that and just "Live". That's not me telling myself that….

… but it's Lee's photos from her stay at Emerson Hotels in Zanzibar speaking to me, and telling me to come out of my comfort zone and "Go for it", and just enjoy the "Art of the Quiet Vacation"!!

About Lee Litumbe…….

Created by Lee Litumbe from her passion for travel, photography, and storytelling, Spirited Pursuit strives to be a visual experience and inspiration source for the travel lover. In an effort to provide a platform for others to share their individual perspectives, these stories focus on each person's first hand perception of cultures and destinations throughout the world – some from Lee's personal journeys, some from local experts and others from a community of spirited world travelers. A Cameroonian by birth, an American by upbringing, and a Nomad at heart, Lee has a deep rooted appreciation for a well-traveled and adventurous life; with every published story re-igniting her longing to experience and explore deeper into all that exists within the world.
