[below] Simple Baked Italian Oregano Meatballs (…more info further down)
I was trying to track down some info on how this cozy home of author Judy Blume, in Key West Florida, fared as Hurricane Irma ripped through the Caribbean, Florida Keys, and Florida proper…….
I was out on Judy Blume's social media a couple of weeks after the storm struck, and she seemed to be "Facebook-ing" and Tweeting about normal stuff a couple of weeks after the storm….
….I didn't get the impression she's in a bunch of post-hurricane chaos.
So I could only infer that Judy fared OK after the storm, if she was lucky. I'm assuming, just some miscellaneous water damage and landscaping cleanup….
Hopefully she's back to eating "Comfort Food" in her cozy, Key West, "Comfort Zone" 🙂

The Healthy Chef's "healthy morsel": The recipe calls for Spicy Italian Sausage, I'll probably substitute with Whole Foods, fresh made daily sausage (they have several different ones that are INCREDIBLY good!!!). I'll also grab some Grass Fed Cheese from Whole Foods, they always have a few brands

The Healthy Chef's "healthy morsel": With organic ingredients and pastured chicken and grass fed dairy in the recipe below, these recipe are healthy as thy are (..though the recipe below has bacon for flavor, if you use bacon, always go with "uncured" bacon).

The Healthy Chef's "healthy morsel": The recipe below calls for filet mignon, but obviously, one can substitute any grass fed steak/bison, or chops. Instead of table salt, try mineral rich, Pink Himalayan Salt

The Healthy Chef's "healthy morsel": You can swap out the Pork/Beef in above recipe for Ground Turkey/Chicken if you want. After these type of meals I usually pop a couple of
Papaya Enzyme Capsules to help digest meat.

The Healthy Chef's "healthy morsel": My brother makes a "KILLER" lasagna, and I'm trying to develop a healthier version for "occasional indulgence", with organic ingredients, and grass fed dairy. Also I'd add some Whole Foods turkey sausage to the lasagna.

The Key West Florida home has been the residence of author Blume’s, whose 29 books have sold over 85 million copies and have been translated into 32 languages .
A garden rich with palms and orchids borders the Florida living room of writer Judy Blume and her husband, George Cooper. Kuba-cloth pillows ornament the B&B Italia sectional sofa;
Tthe wall sculpture is by Susan Rodgers, and the circular table is by artist Cindy Wynn. The house was renovated by architect Thomas E. Pope and interior designer Malcolm James Kutner.
On the terrace, an Indonesian stool is grouped with Shona pots from Jalan Jalan Collection.
The kitchen is outfitted with ovens by Miele, sink fittings by Grohe, and Downsview Kitchens cabinets lacquered in a Benjamin Moore gray; Donghia side chairs surround the breakfast table.
A Waterworks tub in the master bath faces a slate-walled waterfall shower created by Jungles; the tub and shower fittings are by Dornbracht, and the Indonesian low stool is from Archeo Gallery
