…one "Nomad" [myself] "non-vicariously" 🙂 enjoying the travels of another nomad [Lee Litumbe]
I've turned down perhaps 30 people and organizations trying to do some sort of advertising and/or promotion on my website, I'll keep saying, this website will be forever Ad-Free, because I'll never let anyone control the style and imagery I present ("Pop-up Ads" mess up my artistic expression 🙂 )
……though I find ways to give a "plug" to someone when I'm inspired.
And Lee Litumbe, with her Spirited Pursuit Website, is to me, like "Inspiration on Steroids", so let me "creatively" give her some free Advertisement for her Her internet store called Marché ……
…….seamlessly fused into post on her travel adventure to the Lompoul Desert Lodge in Senegal.
This dress, called the Lompoul Maxi Dress – Lemon, that Lee is sporting in these Lompoul Desert shots, is part of the clothing line of " Marché " , Lee's internet "Digital Concept Store"…….
….where her clothes and other handcrafted items, inspired by her travel adventures, are sold.
This is not the first time I've heard of the concept, but I always love to hear when people are doing it, that being using local, rural crafters and vendors…….
…….and bringing their products to cyber-markets, helping the people in these Co-Op type enterprises better their lives, help feed their families, and otherwise, get money in their pockets.
Some of the "non-Female Clothing" items are so cool, I gotta pick up a few things myself, I love African/Ethnic Design, but when something is done very smooth and subtle.
For example, Lee's Aladdin Hamper Baskets will look awesome in my bathroom, and the Poupée Fan pictured below, will be a cool conversation piece sitting on my desk……

And I love Lee's Colored Winged Bolga Tote Bags, [pictured below] which won't be for me , but will be a cool gift for the next Nubian Sista' up here in Seattle that "tickles my fancy"……….
…….and ignites my soul with that "Queen of Sheba", Black Woman's energy 🙂

Check out Lee Litumbe's full, "Short Story Long"…..
…..Her full story on how Marché (her internet store) was born, with this amazing backdrop of the Lompoul Desert photo shoot, is no longer on her site where other travel stories are, so I'm not sure hat is going on there. The full story may be moved to another location on her site where I can't find it.
Nonetheless, my purchases from Her internet store, Marché, will be partially for my ongoing support Black Business and Black Entrepreneurs, but the main reason, is it is really "Cool Stuff" !!!!!
Like I always say, if we don't support each other, who will? 🙂
Thanks Lee for still another dose of my favorite Medicine, INSPIRATION!!!!!
