Soup for One? Eh…..just the name of a favorite song of mine which I posted below, which came into my head when I got a bowl of amazing soup from Whole Foods, and sat outside in the crisp Autumn air, mentally crafting this article in my head, a moment of being in the moment……………..
…the first spoonful tantalizes my palate and warms my torso. My mind says "I swear that 'Soup Nazi' from the Jerry Seinfeld Show must have got a job here [at Whole Foods in Seattle], after Elaine forced him to quit".
After the third slurp, a "Zen-like" effect kicks in, I chuckle at myself because I realize in my whole life I never ever stopped to enjoy the amazing autumn colors. I thought, let me sit here and "just exist" for 15 minutes or so, in my own little world……… And if you're not a pretty girl, It's best you don't bother me!!!
I'm slowly starting to get into making my own and just thought I'd share some recipes. And if you're trying to "flip" your recipe to tasty/healthy, then I might suggest my top 3 or 4 rules……..
1) Avoid Canola Oil and other hydrogenated oils, and stick to Olive Oil oil or Coconut Oil
2) Avoid Common Table Salt and use Pink Himalayan Salt or alternately Celtic Sea Salt
3) When using dairy in a recipe use dairy products from grass fed cows, or at the least USDA organic dairy
4) It's an acquired taste, but the more organic veggies you use, the tastier and more nutrients will be in the soup.
And try not to tell the Soup Nazi at Whole Foods that I'm starting to make my own soups, because if he finds out, and then sees me near his soups at Whole Foods, he's gonna say, "No Soup for You!!!"
enough of all that, Shall we Taste the Zooooop…………….

Thanks for including my humble zucchini and walnut soup recipe amongst all of these lushly photographed offerings. Beautifully curated
Hi, Kellie.
It was a great recipe, and one of the few I found that try to give a little health science and nutritional science along with some “good eats”. Obviously that’s my thing. Great photography also (only the best of the best photography gets on my blog). Great comments about the good fats!!! ~stay healthy~
